The characters are Leafshade (the calico mama), Winterpaw (the white she-cat apprentice with red ear, daughter of Leafshade), Hawkpaw (brown tabby tom), and Dawnpaw (orange tabby she-cat, also daughter of Leafshade). They're from my novel, Winterleaf's Choice (a Warrior Cat Special Edition/fan fiction).

Well lookie there, I finally got around to actually posting something!

This is a fairly recent piece I did for art class (I’m in Drawing II now). It was the first time I’d tried this method for creating values, that is, toning the paper with graphite (harvest from and courtesy of the pencil sharpener haha) and using kneaded eraser/white charcoal to create lighter values (regular charcoal for the darker ones). It’s…messy. But kinda fun? I’ll probably do it again in the future.

Word of advice: do not, I repeat, do NOT try to draw something that has been crocheted. It will frustrate you beyond imagination - yes, even more so than noses or feet or charcoal or whatever thing(s) is/are the bane(s) of your art career.

Edit: the somewhat random scribbles surrounding Bernard (the hedgehog lol his name is Bernard) might seem strange, but he was on a blanket and…

The Genshin Impact Wishing Gods have spoken: With only 2 days of wishing time, 20 paltry pity, and 13 wishes (not nearly enough) I will not be getting Kinich this year, unless his limited time Turnfire/Tooth of the Mountain King banner reruns within 2025. Which is unlikely, especially since Neuvillette, Childe, Diluc, Furina, Wanderer, and Arlecchino are all due for reruns. Curse ye Dehya. I fear the cheetah woman now.
